HSO – University of Applied Sciences Offenburg – is a higher education and research institution with a strong practical orientation. Today, it forms a thriving community with over 4,500 students and 415 staff members (heads) on two campi and offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in four departments in the fields of technology, engineering, business and media. The University’s technology and innovation work focuses on topics such as sustainable energy systems, information technology and embedded systems, robotics, medical engineering, advanced materials, business management and media design.
